Each year, the Edge Foundation
This year’s question is “what scientific concept would improve everybody’s cognitive toolkit?”
We’ll pull together some snippets from the responses to this question so far and pose them to the group for discussion. This is a chance to exercise your mind and contribute to collective learning.
Cindy Underhill is the Learning Resource Design Strategist at CTLT, and is engaged in a variety of projects related to the development of web-based resources to support learners. She’s interested in the application of social web approaches to support learning–-wherever it happens. Cindy’s been a college instructor, considers herself a learner, is proud to be an amateur at most things, and has been involved with educational technology and distance learning for the past several years at UBC. She shares work-in-progress and the occasional observation about learning (mostly) on her blog: http://cindyu.wordpress.com/
