Each year, the Edge Foundation, a network of prominent scientists and creative thinkers assembled by New York literary agent John Brockman, poses a question to the world community.

This year’s question is “what scientific concept would improve everybody’s cognitive toolkit?”

We’ll pull together some snippets from the responses to this question so far and pose them to the group for discussion. This is a chance to exercise your mind and contribute to collective learning.
